SPARC is a not-for-profit agency, founded in 1989 and now entering our 21st year of service. SPARC helps enhance lives through satisfying leisure activities, providing services to over 1,000 individuals monthly. Our community program sites, trip opportunities and local volunteers allow participants to develop a social network while strengthening personal contributions and acceptance in their neighborhoods. Group members practice and develop community living skills, decision-making and problem solving in social situations, building confidence and independence. SPARC programs improve the lives of participants with involvements that capture individual talents, stimulate new interests, form relationships and encourage each person to reach their potential.
