Empowering BIPOC Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities
At SPARC, we believe that diversity is our strength, and inclusivity is our driving force. We are proud to announce the launch of the SPARC Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship, an initiative aimed at empowering young adults from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities who are living with developmental disabilities. We are committed to creating a world where every individual, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to flourish and unlock their full potential.
Our Mission:
SPARC (Special Programs & Resource Connection) enhances the lives of people with developmental disabilities through high-quality therapeutic recreation activities. Participants work on skill development in a nurturing social community that does not otherwise exist in their lives.
Why This Scholarship Matters:
Wee are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates the unique qualities and talents of all individuals. Through our transformative programs, we strive to unlock the limitless potential that lies within each participant. We believe that by offering educational and empowering opportunities, we can build a society where everyone's voice is heard, respected, and valued.
We recognize the unique challenges that young adults with developmental disabilities face, especially within BIPOC communities. The SPARC Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship is designed to bridge the gap and provide these deserving individuals with the resources and support they need to participate in our life-changing programs.
