SPARC (Special Programs & Resource Connection) offers recreational, arts, athletics and wellness programs for members of the Westchester County special needs community, ages 5 through adulthood. SPARC aligns people based on their abilities and offers fun and engaging activities within a structured, caring and nurturing environment.
Serving a broad spectrum of disabilities, SPARC engages with our participants to develop positive experiences that lead to an improvement in social skills and a broader sense of community.
SPARC programs help develop the individual participant to realize their potential by developing new friendships and minimizing the impact of isolation. These programs are facilitated by highly experienced and dedicated staff members who work closely with our participants to strengthen their social skills and improve their ability to engage with neighbors and friends.
These programs meet immediately after school dismissal for 1 hour.
Group programs can be tailored to your schedule & needs, making this a popular and successful service option.
An alternative to traditional day habilitation or “without walls” programs.
Our after-school recreation program is designed for all elementary school aged children, grades K-5.
