What is SPARC?
Since 1989 SPARC has been a leading provider of social, therapeutic recreational, art, athletic, and wellness programs for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Westchester County, New York.
We offer engaging activities for participants of all ages, from school aged to senior adults, in a structured and nurturing environment.
At SPARC, we believe that everyone deserves to experience the joy of socializing and connecting with others in their community. That's why we align our programs based on our participants' abilities, ensuring that everyone can enjoy our activities and develop positive experiences.
Our Services
Our highly trained dedicated staff members work closely with each participant to help them develop new friendships, improve their social skills, life skills and minimize the impact of isolation. By participating in our programs, individuals can unlock their full potential and realize their abilities in a supportive and caring community.
A year-round, innovative day program that offers highly engaging experiences and opportunities to young adults who have finished high school and need support in building life skills, retaining and developing social skills and transitioning to employment, higher education, or simply independent living.
LINK-UP
A group home program for medically fragile adults with IDD that uses recreational activities like art, music, sensory stimulation, and fitness to promote wellness and emotional support.
RESIDENTIAL
RECREATION
After school programs and a summer program for schools that engages and supports students. Programs are designed by staff to enable each age group to try new things and learn social skills while making friends and having fun.
SCHOOL-AGED
PROGRAMS
These programs allow participants to engage in a stimulating and enjoyable range of programs from the comfort of their own homes. Programs help build joy and self-esteem while developing social and life skills.
